I was looking at some birthday wrapping paper that was on my floor today. And I realized it was Coles birthday. What do you get a 1 year old that eats everything? Some advice was "get something that won't fit in his mouth" HA, I swear those kids mouths just expand to fit anything they want at the current moment I thought about a cell phone. He definitely needs his own. Maybe a water proof one. To the kid who would run away with anyone To the child who moves to any noise, mistaken for dancing The one who leans against the couch and leans back with both arms stretched out resting on the couch The one who has a habit of shaking his head back and forth quite violently when tired or saying no Who makes the most noise in a store, mistaken for a singer Who loves to get in trouble with the dog or the garbage can just so someone would chase him away Who loves to play a weird game of chase and loves to watch/listen to the attacker stalk him To the one who can hear food being rendered from another room And the one that follows the food preparer around the house until he gets fed also The one who eats like a teenager already To the mommas boy To the one who can almost say my name and some other words And the one who loves the stairs at Grandmas even though he can't properly use them The ever growing child The one who takes the time to listen even in the middle of screaming his head off To the one still in the cute stage - thank goodness To the one who came into this world grunting and will surely leave this world grunting.
