[1696] L.A. Noire

Attwood recommends video game "LA Noire" as teaching tool for individuals with Asperger's.

My friend Gio just sent me a message on FB with a link to this article. I've been thinking about getting the game, its looks neat. And I was really interested in the game Heavy Rain but its for PS3 and we don't have one. And, Red Dead Redemption looked cool but I can't stand all that hill billy cowboy talk... bad grammer and ya'lls and blah. So this one seemed like a good alternative. Some of the comments at the end make me think it might not be that great for AS. But I figure I might as well try it out. I hear the facial expressions are too exaggerated but I think overall it will probably be good for tyipical stuff. like what most people do. Idk. Maybe not. I've been playing the sims, which has also been said to be a good tool for AS... although I don't really see it. Well... actually kinda... since you have to take care of your characters or they die.. and you have to interact with people a lot or you lose them as a friend. And the little life lessons and stuff that you have to pick. And stuff like that. Nvm. I guess it is good... but i don't play to learn.. i like building houses and making people. I think actually "playing" the game is kinda boring...
