so last night i dreamt i was watching a show kinda like snl.. only not. and they were making fun of the gilmore girls. it was really hilarious.. only i cant remember anything that was said. then it turned into another dream and i was stuck in this twisted amusment park and people were trying to kill me and the person i was with. yeah. so finals. boo. I have to make 2 count em 2!! websites for finals. one is half way done and sucks and the other.. is just an idea right now lol. oi. there was some extra credit work in flash to make this navigation bar with moving buttons and it has to be exactly like the example. my buttons wouldnt work. i tried everything and i was there all day. sucked eggs.. timmy got me my first graphic design job with that guy chakrist. i finished some and he picked his favorite. a couple days ago i called lamont, this guy from my church i used to work for. he owns a printing shop. well. the thing is.. the first day there he assked me all sorts of questions about whati wanted to do in life and i said i wasnt sure.. design or acting, but i dont have head shots. and he said if i take some head shops that he would print them for me for free. well. headshots cost a lot. not for the photography but the printing. so thats pretty big. well i ended up quitting because when he first told me about the job he said i would "assist him in the graphics department" lol which is a joke now cuz the place was like 2 1/2 rooms big. and the "graphic department" was a little room in the back. he said i would be taking over for lisa who was leaving cuz she wass getting married soon and stuff. well apparently lisa decided to stay after he hiredme. but instead of telling me.. he just had he stick to the graphic stuff that he said i'd be doing. and made me do all the gopher work. which he did say would be a small part of the job. but i only saw a computer the first day when he said lisa would train me on Quark. He even had me come in early in the morning and said lisa would train me from 8-10 and then i'd do "gopher work". and then in like a couple days or a week he would train me himself. well if lisa moving around some text and talking about her fiance is training... then it does only take a day. so i would come in everyday at 8 and he'd send me straight to the back to do gopher work. after that i would ask over and over when i would have more training and he would just say "soon". months went by and no training. i mean training happens the first days of a job. and he was just putting it off. i thought because it was busy but no. i went back to ask him a question once and he was on the computer playing war craft. war craft! at work. not during lunch either. and thats when i knew that lisa was staying and i was just the gopher. and then they started getting really slow and he kept telling me to leave early. then i would come in and he would say to just go home cuz their no work. i got sick of that fast cuz its alllll the way across town. so then he said to call before i come in. 1 whole week of calling and everyday.. "nothing today but im sure i'll definately have work for u tomorrow" but its funny cuz everyday i'd call.. lisa would answer the phone.. lol. so if there was nothing to do.. what the hell was she there for? getting paid to look pretty? i seriously think they were having an affair. cuz everytime iwould go back there they would just be talking. not working. talking. PLUS... if he did want me to pay for the cards.. he should have said something by now. i mean on the phone he just said to send them to him. we've exchanged like 3 emails about it since and none about the cost. If i was a regular customer.. that would be the first thing he'd say.. so i just assume he's on the same page. if not.. i kinda almost do hope it turns into an argument.. i have a lot to say. but anyways... oh yeah Im soo proud of timmy. he is switching over to Thousand Oaks. and he was all scared about it.. he almsot didnt but its a good thing he is cuz he's going to be making more hours plus.. he is getting $18/hr. that's really good. the only bad thing is te drive. it'll tkae about 20 more minutes to get there. b ut its worth it. plus the guys over there arent all stingy like at robertson honda. and he gets paid for sick days. and he doesnt have to pay for health insurance. its like a billion times better. grr. salvation army sucks. useed to be one of my favorite places to waste time.. but they freaking jacke dup all their prices. now a stupid shirt is like $5.50... but i can get a brand new shirt at the swap meet for $5. its finally happened. the thirft stores are conforming. slowly. but surely. well not that slowly actually. 3 months ago a top was $1.50, 2 months ago $3.50, now $5.50.... at this rate the tops will be $10 each by the end of summer. jerks.
