so i tried this once before and it didnt work out so great.. calling random graphic design companies and asking if they were hiring or had internships.. i mostly got no's and werd responses. it kind of killed my mojo. But today.. i said "jeni... what the heck? you need a job dang it!" so i tried again. annnnnnnd this time was soo much better. yeah, one guy was in a meeting but told me to call him after because he needs someone to help him with a big client. im going to call him in a few minutes and another guy was on vacation but said to email him my info and he'll call me when he gets back because he could use someone to help with a lot of small projects. and that was after i told him i didnt have very much experience at all. so yeah. hopefully these places come thru and i can continue to call other places and gain more experience and finally get a portfolio going. i feel so good about myself when I am getting something done. I loved making those business cards for tim's friend. I felt really accomplished. The whole Lamont thing sucked but it was just nice to design something and get positive feedback.
