so started work in the audio visual department at coc today. its a pretty chill job. easy and pretty laid back people. its nice. the phones are easy and everyone who calls is freindly. i hate answering phones and having to calm down an angry person. stupid jerks. but yeah. joe said its good that im there cuz all he knows is macs and sometimes people need pc information and he cant give it to them if he is the only one there. and i know pc's pretty well so yeah. he's also trying to get me more days. which is good. i work monday. Noel was who trained me. He is cool and such. and then theres shawn and joe. and then people walking thru all the time from the grpahics department and such. when joe and noel went out of the office for a while, one of the teachers came in cuz he left his cd in the drive. and he was amazed when i used a paper clip to make it open. lol it was funny. the little things people dont know. noels really nice and was really focused on making me feel comfortable and such. lol but when his wife called he completely blew me off and was completely wrapped up in the call. i didnt take it personal tho. i think it was really adorable. she was talking so loud i could hear alot. i tried to pretend like i could hear. but i couldnt help it. he was really busy at the time but. he didnt make it sound like he was at all. and when he was saying goodbye, she continued and was like "i miss you" and he just fell right back into the conversation lol.. it was funny. and then her and their daughter stopped by around 10 and he introduced me and then he's like.. be back later.. and went and hung out with them for like 20 minutes. and i had no idea what to do.. so i just sat around. but it was kinda cool how he was all professional and stuff thru out the whole time.. and as soon as his wife was around, its like his whole world stopped and he's all wrapped up in her. after that i went to valencia printers to work some more. and oi. today was hard. collating out the ears and my arms were soo sore. my fingers.. numb. and the radio station was playing crap music for most of it. haha it was funny tho. everyone in a while, the dj says something "funny" inbetween songs or before commercials. just a little phrase and usually its lame. and he's all something like "just wanted to remind everyone that it's 4/20.... what? just saying what day it is" lol i dunno i guess it was lame but it made me laugh. PDK came in again today. theres something about PDK that is like.. i dunno. its always refreshing to see him. He asked how i was. and i said ok. and he was like "are you ok?" cuz he actually cares. not just saying it to say it. he said it looked like i had been crying. but i said i hadnt gotten much sleep. which is true. i havent cried since... 2 days ago. maybe 1 1/2 but still. progress nonetheless. lol it was funny tho cuz me, PDK and lamont all didnt get any sleep cuz of computer games. i really wanna lose 10 lbs.
